Hi All, To get some "rest" from all the Hiens I made and I'm currently building (there are two more to be honest, Ki-100 from Hasegawa and Ki-61-II Kai from RS Models, both in 1:48th scale) I decided to start something a bit different and more challenging: Azur's VG.36. The kit entered the production in … Continue reading In the workshop: Arsenal VG.36 C1 | Azur 1:48

In the workshop: 40/43 M ‘Zrinyi’ II 105 mm | Bronco 1:35
Hi All, Another project started recently: Bronco's 40/43 M 'Zrinyi' II 105 mm. What a wonderful kit! Excellent detail and fit (so far, I haven't encountered any of the fit issues described by some other modelers), and it is a really unique subject, not often seen in the Net - on top of that, a really good looking beast. … Continue reading In the workshop: 40/43 M ‘Zrinyi’ II 105 mm | Bronco 1:35
N.A. P-51 D Mustang, 1:48 Tamiya, pt. 7
Hi All, No, no - I haven't forgotten about this one 🙂 To be honest, there have been a lot of other interesting projects started recently, so P-51 had to wait a moment for its time. Now, as you can see, it is very close to the final. Just a few things missing or to be corrected. … Continue reading N.A. P-51 D Mustang, 1:48 Tamiya, pt. 7
N.A. P-51 D Mustang, 1:48 Tamiya, pt. 4
Hi All, Going slowly forward - now my Mustang is looking a bit more like an aircraft. After glueing the fuselage and wings together, it is clear that some additional filing and sanding will be required - I think that the resin inserts have infuenced the fit of the parts a bit. Stay tuned Hubert

N.A. P-51 D Mustang, 1:48 Tamiya, pt. 3
Hi All, Small progress only since last entry. I can hardly find a free time for modelling, being lately very busy. I'm not quite sure, if it is correct to paint the seat's cushion brown, as it was not possible to find any color photo of the real aircraft, not a restored one, showing it … Continue reading N.A. N.A. P-51 D Mustang, 1:48 Tamiya, pt. 2
A very little done and ready to show this week - only a small progress with the wings assembly and wheel walls painting, and some paintwork in the cockpit. Too busy to have enough time to speed-up the work on the kit, but it is slowly going forward. For the moment I must admit, that … Continue reading N.A. P-51 D Mustang, 1:48 Tamiya, pt. 2
