IJN Soryu was a nice step off my usual path, aircraft, tanks… lets build some more small scale ships. These boxes are small, usually flat, so one can buy thirty, and still have some room 🙂

Trumpeter’s Kirov is not their best kit for sure, some details and fit leave a lot to desire, but I hope with some add-ons (brass gun barrels, resin AA gun turrets, PE antennas) should be an eye-catching scale model. It is quite large, almost the size of IJN Yamato.

I will be using Akan acrylic paints for Russian and Soviet era ships.

So lets do it!

These PE antennas and constructions are small. I can’t say I like them.
